Worked Great For A Handicapped Lady December 6, 2005 P N (Georgia , United States) 56 out of 61 found this review helpful
My adult daughter is handicapped from an automobile accident and can not get up to turn on or off the lights. So, if no one was with her as it got dark she had to sit there in the dark until someone came. I gave her the clapper and it worked great for her. The amazing thing is, she has no fine motor skills and can not clap hard enough, so she just yells at it and it works!! She yells "On" and the lights respond and come on and yells "Off" and they go off. It has given me peace of mind and been a great comfort to us knowing that she can control the lights. The first one finally wore out, now I am buying another one.

What can you say about The Clapper? You clap, it turns on and off. You laugh, it turns on and off. We won't mention what happens during intimate moments! Seriously, it's a lot of fun, reliable, and very convenient. I'm glad I purchased it!
A life saver for disabled persons March 13, 2006 Frank L. Perry Jr. (Lilburn, GA USA) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
My wife had a stroke, went through rehab clinic and home care therapy and is recovering, but she kept falling in the bedroom.
She could not turn on and off her bedside lamp.
I thought about the TV ads for the Clapper Sound activator and ordered one from Amazon.
Now my wife can turn off her lamp to sleep and turn on her lamp to see how to get out of bed and keep from falling.
Good Gag Gift or Gag in General November 17, 2005 Health Junky 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I hooked one of these to the lights in my bosses office...it took him all day to figure it out. I set it to high sensitivity and his lights were flashing on and off all day long. It was a whole lot of fun!
whats to tell its a clapper April 6, 2006 Margaret O 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
you know how it works. i read a lot of reviews saying it detects any noise. i have mine in my bedroom on the medium setting and the really the only thing that sets it off accidentally is the vacuum cleaner. im sure if you put it near a door or in a very noisy room your results will vary.
