I have been using Tonalin for about a month now. I can really feel an energy boost throughout the day and have lost about 3 lbs. I am very skeptical with these kind of products but Tonlin is working. I thought maybe I would see results within a week, and I was getting a little disappointed. But in the second week I started to feel better and the extra weight started to decrease. Great product for now and I hope it continues to work for long periods of time.

First, a recap of my experience with CLA in general:
I bought CLA for muscle maintenance. I was embarking on an international backpacking spree and I knew I wouldn't be able to work out normally or maintain my protein levels (I'm a vegetarian and am very careful to get enough protein usually).
I think it made me lose a couple of pounds, but I was traveling when I was taking it and my lifestyle was very different than usual (no gym or weight lifting but TONS of walking, became ill a couple of times, irregular meals and new food--sometimes super unhealthy, sometimes very clean eating). So I did lose weight when I first started taking it, but I had also changed many other aspects of my life. Notably, when I lost weight, I somehow retained a good amount of muscle, despite not being able to lift weights for 5 months.
I have returned to my normal food/exercise routine now that I am back home. I have gained about 10 pounds (absolutely needed) in the past 8 months and returned to a healthy weight after being ill and having a bizarre traveling diet. However, I still continue to take CLA and I really believe that it is largely responsible for maintaining the toned, lean, muscular body I work hard for. Those 10 pounds could have been placed on my stomach--I was traditionally a stomach-fat gainer--or on my face as pure fat, but I just look HEALTHIER, not chubbier. I don't think my body fat percentage really increased at all!
The science behind CLA backs this up. The clinical dosage is 3.4 grams of CLA per day (CLA specifically, so calculate how many capsules you need based on the CLA percentage per 1000 mg softgel). I also notice that it gives me energy, so I try not to take it at night.
Now for the Swanson CLA review:
This is one of the most inexpensive sources of CLA out there. It's a great deal, the product is Swanson so you know it's quality, and the concentration of CLA per 1000 mg softgel is the highest I've seen (80%).

Was skeptical at first but... May 19, 2010 M. E. Breimann (North Babylon, NY, US) When I first saw this, I didn't believe the claims. But, being desperate to lose some weight (I've gone up 50 pounds in the last 3 years) I decided to try it. It wasn't expensive so I figured I didn't have much to lose. Two weeks later, I'm 9 lbs lighter. Don't get me wrong, I exercise regularly (usually a 3-5 mile run every day) and have a generally healthy diet, but I was doing the same thing before I started taking Tonalin CLA and I wasn't losing more than a pound every 2 weeks. All you need to do is take 2 pills a day, before each meal (3 meals, for those on any diet consisting of many small meals a day)

This product is a very good quality, since I am taking it I feel that I burn more calories during my workout.
